Đánh giá thực trạng sản xuất và tiêu thụ ớt cay a riêu tại xã Mà Cooih, huyện Đông Giang, tỉnh Quảng Nam

Abstract

Nghiên cứu này phân tích, đánh giá thực trạng sản xuất và tiêu thụ ớt A riêu tại xã miền núi Mà Cooih của huyện Đông Giang, tỉnh Quảng Nam. Nghiên cứu đã phỏng vấn 50 hộ và 2 chuyên gia am hiểu của địa phương về những thuận lợi và khó khăn trong sản xuất và tiêu thụ ớt A riêu, và thu thập các số liệu tài liệu thứ cấp liên quan đến sản xuất và tiêu thụ ớt. Kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng diện tích trồng ớt trung bình mỗi hộ rất thấp, khoảng 0,0825 ha/hộ. Năm 2017 giá bán ớt A riêu từ 180.000 – 200.000 đồng/kg, năng suất thu hoạch khoảng 1.560 kg/ha, vì thế mỗi hộ thu về gần 28,23 triệu đồng. Chi phí đầu vào chủ yếu là hạt giống (khoảng 180.000đ/sào, tương đương 3,6 triệu đồng/ha) và công lao động (làm đất, chăm sóc và thu hoạch). Trong quá trình canh tác, người dân không sử dụng phân bón và thuốc bảo vệ thực vật. Sau khi thu hoạch thì 77,8% sản lượng bán cho Hợp tác xã Nông lâm nghiệp Mà Cooih, phần còn lại bán cho người thu mua (12,5%) và người bán lẻ (4,3%). Sản xuất ớt A riêu gặp phải các vấn đề khó khăn, như: côn trùng, bệnh hại, sản xuất phân tán, quy mô nhỏ và nguồn cung trên thị trường không ổn định. Vì vậy, cần thiết phải phát triển quy mô sản xuất ớt A riêu hợp lý, xúc tiến thương mại nhiều sản phẩm và phát triển thị trường tiêu thụ ổn định.

ABSTRACT
The study analyses current status of producing and consuming Arieu chilly in Ma Cooih mountainous commune, Dong Giang District, Quang Nam Province. The researchers interviewed 50 households farming Arieu chilly and 2 local experts on advantages and disadvantages in producing and consuming Arieu chilly as well as collected secondary data relating production and consumption of Arieu chilly. The findings indicate that average area of Arieu chilly per households is low, around 0.0825hecta/hh. In 2017, the price of Arieu chilly is from VND 180,000 to 200,000 per kilogram while the yield for harvest is about 1,560 kg/ha. So the average income per household in 2017 is about 28.23 million. The input costs are mainly seedlings (about VND 3,600,000 per hecta), and labor (land preparation, caring and harvesting). During production of Arieu chilly, households do not use fertilisers and plant protection chemicals. After harvesting, 77.8 percent of Arieu chilly are sold to Ma Cooih Cooperative on Agriculture and Forestry and the remainder is sold to other consumers (12.5 percent for collectors and 4.3 percent for retailers). Besides these, production of Arieu chilly face difficulties such as: insects and pests, diseases, small-scale and fragmented production and unstable supplies in the market. Therefore, it is necessary to increase reasonably scale of Arieu chilly production, promote multiple products marketing and develop output market steady.
