Abstract

Ralstonia solanacearum is the causative agent of bacterial wilt disease in more than 200 plant species, including tomato. Up to now, many measures have been used to prevent this disease, but they have not been completely effective. In this study, we isolated endophytic bacteria in tomato plants and selected the endophytic strain against R. solanacearum. According to the research results, 10 endophytic strains were isolated. In which, 01 strain was identified as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens B02 has a high antagonistic ability to R. solanacearum. The diameter of the zone of inhibition on the agar plate is 16.67±0.33 mm. Treating tomato seeds with B. amyloliquefaciens strain B02 can reduce the infection rate at seedling stage up to 83.33%.
