Abstract

This research aimed to isolate Fusarium solani from white-leg shrimp suffering from black spot disease and to evaluate antifungal activity of silver nanoparticles. Fusarium solani was isolated from samples of white-leg shrimp cultivated in Thua Thien Hue affected by black spot disease. The antifungal activity of silver nanoparticles was investigated, revealing their effectiveness at a concentration of 20 µg/mL. Silver nanoparticles at concentrations of 2.5, 5, and 10 µg/mL exhibited inhibitory effects on the growth of Fusarium solani, with the diameter of fungal colonies at these concentrations after 15, 30, and 60 minutes of silver nanoparticles exposure significantly lower (p < 0.05) compared to the control.
